Scheme A Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Graduate Trainee

TQM is a provider of HKIE-MIE's Graduate Scheme "A" Training, working to develop engineers for society. Successful applicants will go through a 2-year training program approved by HKIE and develop their qualities through real-world case practices.

Requirements:

• Graduate within 2 years with good honours degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics or Mechanical Engineering (higher degree will be an advantage)
  
• Excellent written and spoken English & Chinese
  
• Dynamic and fast learning
  
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  
• Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for project planning and handling
  
• Support in a wide range of professional training to clients
  
• Coordinate with various parties to ensure smooth running of projects
  
• On-site consultancy services
  
• Job rotation in different departments
  
• Engage in internal projects assigned by supervisor

The successful candidate will also go through a 2-year comprehensive & practical programme approved by the HKIE, and may become a Chartered Engineer in 4 years.
In 2 years, the candidate is expected to be:

• Proficient in project planning and handling
  
• Skilful in time management
  
• Able to in charge of management system projects
  
• Have a remarkable improvement in presentation & communication skill
  
• Have a solid knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, various Quality Tools, different Management Systems etc

General Manager / Principal Consultant

• At least 15 years of experience senior managerial / consulting positions
  
• Strong business acumen, strategic planning, management vision
  
• Experience in the following is advantages: -
  1.) Soft and hard skills training
  2.) Business process improvement
  3.) Lean implementation / consultancy
  4.) 6 Sigma consulting experience
  5.) Implementation of various Management Systems such as ISO 9001, ISO27001, ISO 14001, etc.

• Post-graduate in engineering, management, business administration or equivalent
  
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  
• Good communication, human and leadership skills
  
• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge on MS Project Server or MS CRM a definite advantage
  
• Dynamic and resourceful

Candidates with less experience will start as Senior Consultant / Consultant.
