After assisting Computer Products Asia Pacific Ltd (now known as Artesyn Technologies Asia-Pacific Ltd) in achieving Hong Kong's first ISO 9001 certification and in winning the Hong Kong Industrial Grand Awards in Productivity and Quality, Ir. Dr. Aaron W. K. TONG established TQM in sight of the benefits of quality management to the the success of businesses and the economy as a whole.

Since then, TQM has assisted clients, ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations to Government departments, in achieving various certifications and improving productivity, which, as a result, brought about immediate and dramatic profitability.
