During this project, TQM consultants gained generous support from the management, overcoming many difficulties (e.g. Communication between some of the locations have been difficult since the telecommunication infrastructure is not stable). Within 3 months, we have visited the MAST's representative offices in East Asia and communicated with their staffs, getting the first hand information to analyze their purchasing activities about MAST Sportswear. Meanwhile, we cooperated with the consultants who are in USA, re-designing the investigating and consulting activities according to their proposals

Through this project, the value-added and non-value added activities and 29 key findings mostly led to redesign of process are identified, rectifying working habit, aimed at creating an extra 20% room of working time each day for purchasing personnel of East Asia. Furthermore, 32 best practices and practical solutions for future steps and next phases of projects are generated. BPR program will lead MAST to embark on the journey towards success.
