Congratulations for Asia Airfreight Terminal Achieving OHSAS 18001
Being a specialized airfreight corporation, a comprehensive and high quality management and safety system is a must, which matches the needs of airfreight development. Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT's mission is to become the best airfreight terminal in the world. AAT implement the OHSAS 18001:1999 Occupational Health and Safety Management System to enhance the staff's occupational safety awareness, and providing a safe working environment for both guests and workers. TQM CONSULTANTS CO LTD (TQM) is glad to be the AAT's appointed partner in this project.
TQM has successfully assisted Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd. and Air Macau to implement Quality and Safety Management System, and some related safety training. During this project, TQM consultants understood AAT's operation procedure in the first step. Then, we learnt from our successful experiences to apply in the actual environment of AAT, and gave appropriate guidelines. According to OHSAS 18001:1999 Standard, TQM provided a set of schemes and proposals that is applicable for AAT's working environment. We also offered related trainings and instructions are available for AAT staff. Consequently, a complete healthy and safety system had been set up in AAT. Under six months of corporation and efforts, AAT successfully pass the audit with zero non-conformance by BVQi. |
