Successfully audit of ISO 9001:2000 QMS of Brilliant Trading Company (1974)
Brilliant Trading Company (1974) Limited (Brilliant) is an international diamond cutting and diamond trading company. Brilliant knows the key of successful enterprise is to satisfy customers by products quality. Since its establishment in the 1970s, its products have kept high quality and built up a reputation in diamond trading industry. In order to offer a quality commitment for their customers, develop standardized facilities, and enhance enterprise competition, Brilliant decides to implement ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System so as to ensure and increase product quality.
Brilliant spent six months to design and implement the ISO 9001:2000 QMS. It successfully passes the audit of ISO 9001:2000 QMS by BSI in December, 2005. Brilliant appointed TQM CONSULTANS CO LTD (TQM) as consultants for this project, because of TQM's rich experiences in quality certification. According to Brilliant unique environment, TQM consultants assist to establish a set of quality management system, and use corrective actions to increase problem solving ability. In addition, TQM consultants provided related trainings for Brilliant's staff to systematically study the concepts and the standard of ISO 9001:2000, which applied ISO 9001:2000 QMS in the company. The successful audit of ISO 9001:2000 QMS makes Brilliant further enhanced management quality and improved production management. The scopes cover Brilliant and it subsidiary-Helix (Pan Yu) Diamond & Jewellery Co. Ltd., a completed quality management system has been established between them and operates smoothly. |
