With continuous efforts of Fuijikon staff and TQM consultants, the company successfully reduced the time required in the new product development process by 47% within 9 months. With the successful achievement of the previous project, Fuijikon invited TQM again to participate in a new project on the Cross-Functional Product Actuation Time Excellence Process to further reduce the development cycle time of new product.

In this project, TQM consultants assisted to enhance team spirit of the new product development team and to improve communication among team members; to analyze and redesign the new product development process; to build a cross-functional team for new product development; to verify and redesign the incentive system; and to facilitate implementation of IT software for project management.

After all, the effective development process for new product brought vast benefits to Fuijikon, including increasing revenue; improving product development; expanding market share and enhancing customer satisfaction.
