ASQ - American Society for Quality's Six Sigma Black Belt Training is brought
for the first time to the Greater China Region by TQM Consultants Co Ltd, Hong
Kong Society for Quality, and SGS Hong Kong.
Being more than statistics and tools, Six Sigma has led to significant reduction
of defects and out-of-control processes, and eventually immediate and dramatic
financial profitability in organizations and corporations of various types and
sizes of business all over the world. With each 6Sigma project saving at least
US$100k, ASQ-trained 6 Sigma Black Belts have saved more than US$125 million!
With a Black Belt directing four to six projects per year, annualized cost reductions
is significant for any organization!
"A high-quality Six Sigma Black Belt Training is finally here in the Greater
China region," said Dr. Aaron Wai-kwok TONG, one of the only three ASQ-approved
Black Belt Trainers in Greater China, "and this isn't going to be some
kind of wishy-washy training but one that brings results that go right to the
bottom line."
The program will kick-start its first-in-Greater-China course in Hong Kong, on May 18, 2005. The course will be lectured by the three ASQ-approved Black Belt Trainers, Dr. Aaron TONG, Dr. Albert H. C. TSANG, Principal Lecturer in Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Dr. Fugee TSUNG, Associate Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, also an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt trainer.
