Congratulations to Biu Chun for winning the Merit Award in 2003 "HK Awards for Industry: Quality"
Several prestigious awards in Hong Kong aim at recognizing enterprises that demonstrate
superior quality management. The "HK Awards for Industry: Quality" is
one such award which attracts immense participation from innumerable local enterprises
each year. Realizing the importance of performance assessment against industry
norms and internal benchmarking as the key driver for performance improvement,
Biu Chun Watch Hands & Parts Manufacturers Ltd. has participated in the "HK
Awards for Industry: Quality (2003)" and won the Merit award.
Founded in 1972, Biu Chun has established itself as one of the leading watch
hands and parts manufacturer. Its market has expanded from Asian factories to
their Western counterparts. TQM was invited to provide a benchmarking and quality
improvement consultancy service to equip Biu Chun’s staff with the most advanced
quality management skills, improve its customer service and reinforce its 6S
(5S and safety) practice. All the efforts invested made it possible for Biu
Chun to carry out high performance business that found wide acclaim in the industry.
