Shenzhen Quality Management Organization Representative Conference 2003
The Shenzhen Quality Management Organization Representative Conference 2003 was
successfully held in Shenzhen’s Dapeng Jinshui Bay Vocational Village on Jul 18.
Mr. Aaron Tong, the Managing Director of TQM Consultants Co., Ltd. (TQM) and Past
Chairman of the Hong Kong Society for Quality (HKSQ) was invited to attend the
conference by the Shenzhen Association for Quality, the Shenzhen General Labor
Union and the Shenzhen Science Technology Association. To demonstrate the commitment
and achievement of HK corporations in Quality Management, Mr. Tong invited the
CLP Power HK Ltd. (CLPP), as the HK representative to share with the participants
their QCC concepts and fruitful project results. CLPP was presented a prestigious
award by the organizers for their great efforts.
In addition to CLPP’s participation, Dr. Lang Zhizheng, the Counselor of the State Council and a well-known quality expert, also attended the conference and gave a speech on "Core Competence and Total Participation" He expressed sincere appreciation to Mr. Tong who made contributions in enhancing the interaction between Shenzhen and Hong Kong in the industry. With China’s accession into the WTO and the fast development of Hong Kong manufacturing
enterprises in the mainland China, TQM is actively assisting clients in improving
business process and operations in order to strengthen their foundations in
the Pearl River Delta Region. It is also TQM’s commitment to sharing the world’s
most advanced management principles with the mainland China enterprises to strengthen
